Do you charge for your
help or other information?
No, this is a non-profit project, all I ask in return is that you
share any information or material you may have like so many others have done
to date. If you wish to contribute please use the above link for full details.
Do you accept Burma WWII
accounts by veterans from other regiments?
Yes, I would appreciate any help and coverage of this period. Although
facts, documents and other material on this site is just related to the
2nd Battalion Berkshire Regiment it is of interest to all that a full
and rounded picture is gained from those who fought there.
Why has the layout of your site changed
so soon?
Good question. I try to adapt the site as and when people
inform me of difficulties they encounter.
Am I allowed
to download the pictures and articles from your website?
The information and content on this website is the rightful property
of the person/persons who have submitted it. Should you remain in doubt
please drop me a line.
Why is some of the material on this site
so obvious in its nature?
Researchers are of all age groups and nationalities, not
all are so well informed.
Why have you entered items in upper and
lower case in your abbreviation section?
This has been presented in the exact format
in which the abbreviation was written or typed in the document/form etc.
Do you list only veterans
from the 2nd Battalion on this website?
The main objective of this project is to trace Burma veterans
of the 2nd Battalion The Royal Berkshire Regiment, but lets not forget the
many
brave
men and
women who fought and died in India/Burma of WWII and are all part of the
Forgotten Army. I would be privileged to include them. Just visit Comrades
and Other Regiments for details and format.
Why do you have information/images of men
on your web pages dedicated to finding out who they are when you have
clearly stated their name/s?
This information was placed at what I believe to be an appropriate
location as a means of gaining additional information such as unit
ID or Service number
etc.
If you do not ask
you may never know.
