with the Royal Berkshire Regiment until his release from

Sadly William Goodwin
died in a road traffic accident in 1948. |

(Fred) Hinton inlisted 15 July 1939, serving with 1st Battalion 2nd
Div. Royal Berkshire Regiment.
Posted to France in 1939, wounded early 1940. After recovery in the
UK he was reassigned to the 4th Battalion and Posted to India in
late 1942,
Pte. Hinton saw action, in Arakan 1943 - Kohima – Assam in
1944 and finally on into Burma late 1944 where he finished his war. |

Wilcox passed away in 1989.
