| HMT Nervosa: |
HMT Nervosa, launched 12 December
1912 by Barclay, Curls & Co Glasgow for British India Steam
Navigation Co. and was laid up in the River Blackwater and then
scrapped at Barrow in France 1948.

| RMS Empress of Canada: |
Following the outbreak of
World War II in 1939, was converted for use as a troopship. Left
Glasgow in March 1941 on board were 5,000 soldiers, amongst them
were many berkshiremen embarking on an eight week voyage. |
